The racing season heats up with the second of our Summer Carnival Friday twilight meetings, and one of the most popular race days of the season.

Join us for another afternoon of exciting racing action followed by an evening of musical entertainment. The perfect way to end the working week.

Racing starts around 3pm, followed by live musical entertainment in the Carnival Zone.

This very popular race day often sells out, book early to avoid disappointment.

General Admission

Experience the action on course with a General Admission ticket which provides access to the centrally located Tuson Public Stand, with Bet and Collect facilities, full bar, and amenities. Food is available from the West Coast Fish Company food truck.

General admission entitles you access to all public areas within the racecourse complex. Please note, there are reduced facilities within the grandstand this season.

Members Stand & Privileges

Enhance your race day experience with a Members Stand ticket which provides you with Members Privileges for the day, including access to the Members Lounge with Bet & Collect facilities, full bar, cafe, and amenities at your fingertips, and with fantastic views of the birdcage, track, and winning post, you'll be in the heart of the race day action.

Shared inside space, tables on tiered levels for optimal viewing. Tables seat 6-8, multiple tables are located next to, or adjacent, each other based on bookings and numbers.

The Scottish Charm Lounge offers elevated panoramic views of New Plymouth Raceway, including the home straight and winning post. With full in-lounge facilities and amenities, you can relax at your reserved table and enjoy the hospitality.

Premium Mini Marquee Precinct

You're right in the heart of the racing action in the premium trackside mini-marquee precinct. Get up close to the horses as they parade past, on their way to the adjacent birdcage, and feel the thundering hooves as the horses race past to the Winning Post.

A prime location perfect for racing enthusiasts, the marquees are positioned so you can soak up all the racing action, enjoy amazing views of the home straight, while you savour the delicious fare, and premium beverage range.

Enclosure Facilities
Individual marquees with picket fenced lawn per booking. Prime view of the track, parade shute, and birdcage. Bet and Collect marquee with Trackside TVs. Catering and bar facilities exclusively for precinct guest use. Amenities located in the adjacent La Mer Lounge.

Venue
Private outside space with shared facilities. Located in front of the grandstand all marquees include a table for ten guests within the marquee, a bar leaner, sun umbrella, and picket fencing for your enclosure. Additional guests are accommodated at bar leaners, or a second table of ten, alfresco.

Please note: When the weather is unsuitable marquee guests will be relocated to an inside location, determined by availability.

The Village

Whether you’re looking to entertain guests, or to spend the day with friends and family The Village offers racegoers a multi-purpose trackside location where you can soak up the sensational atmosphere, whether in a private mini-marquee or fun shared space with other like-minded attendees.

Partake in a relaxing meal, enjoy a beverage from the bar, and socialise in the communal lawn. The Village is your Entertainment Destination at New Plymouth Raceway.

The Village Facilities
Sweeping views of the home straight down to the Winning Post. Fenced area on the city side of the racecourse complex (subject to bookings). Bet and Collect facilities provided either in the permanent housing, or by a TAB caravan. Amenities will either be available within the enclosure or a short walk to the Tuson Stand.

Venue
Shared outside space, with options for private mini marquees. There is a mixture of exclusive, shared, and communal spaces offering a range of seating options. Private and shared marquees have tables of ten. Communal areas will have bar leaners, and sun umbrellas.

Please note: When the weather is exceptionally unsuitable guests will be relocated to an inside location, determined by availability. Facilities and amenities subject to bookings and dates.
