Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Course Proper. Markers 6m. Track Slow
With Hawera gallops Sunday, and jump outs on Monday, it was a very quiet session at the track today.
Rosewood looked improved from her first-up run when working over 1000m, the last 600m in 36.9. This was an excellent gallop.
Time honours of the morning went to Collinstreet and Reliable Miss who strode over 1200m, the last 600 in 36.8. Collinstreet is coming hand well.
Last start winner, Diogenes, who is now in the Millar barn worked 1000m with Rhuzick, the last 600 in 38.6. Diogenes won’t be hard to place on the wet track.
Butler worked right handed and appeared to travel ok over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.9. He shows quite a bit of promise, as does stablemate, Darci La Bella, who ran 800, home in 38.2.
Secret Squirrel and Hot Shocolate ran 1000m, together the last 600 in 39.7. Secret Squirrel is very consistent and must get a win soon.
The final gallops were all solo over 800 or 1000, with 600m times in brackets.
Meila Rei (41.9), Express Yourself (40.1), Swiss Kitty (39.2), Exstrememiss (39.1), Exstrememiss is coming to hand well.
