Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway
Tuesday 23rd October 2018
Course Proper. Track Good 3. Markers 22m.

A very busy morning on an excellent track.

Time honours of the morning went to the Sharrock duo of Valencia and Tellyawhat, who ran 1000m, the last 600 in 36.5. It was a sound gallop.

Just as impressive were the Patterson pair of Our Milo and Dezella who did identical work, the last 600 in 36.6. Our Milo was scratched from Woodville due to a wide draw. Will be competitive when it lines up.

Koko Belle was partnered by Ruby Love over 1000m, the 600 in 37.5. Both should show form soon.

From the Wheeler stable, Irish Flame and Cleaver ran a steady 1000m, sprinting the last 600 on 37.7. Both are in great form.

From the Paewai stable Red Forrest and Batchelor Babe ran 1000m, the last 600 in 37.2. It was good work by a maiden to keep up with Batchelor Babe.

Aridity and Regal Rock did identical work in identical time. Great run from Aridity at Hawera and should go on with it.

Royal Empress was partnered by Fascino Lass over a solid 1000m, the last 600 in 37.7. Fascino Lass has good jump out form.

London Express and Sinarahma were paired over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.3. Sinarahma was huge first up at Woodville and will win a maiden at short notice.

Collins Street and Waisake strolled over a 1000m, running the last 600 in a steady 39.9. Collins Street was an improved run last start.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY next race day at Pukekura Raceway, Spiers Wireline Spring Twilight, Friday 2nd November.
