Semi Final Gallops

Time honours of the morning went to the Allan Sharrock trained Field Of Fire who worked with Keltic Rockstar over 1000m, the last 600 in 36.7. Field Of Fire is ready to be very competitive whilst Keltic Rockstar is improved by its first-up run.

The Marilyn Paewai pair of Rosewood and Batchelor Babe worked solo over 1000nm the last 600 in 37.5 and 37.4 respectively. Both are holding their form well and will be competitive whilst the wet tracks last.

From the Patterson Barn, Our Milo and Goldie were paired over 800m, the last 600m in 37.2. It was strong work.

Pentathlon looked improved with his first-up run by working 1200m with Vencedora, the last 600 in 38.9. Rider, Leith Innes, was happy with his first race start in this campaign.

Mars Bar and Tellyawhat were paired over 1000m, the last 600 in a smart 37.4, as you would expect from good gallopers. They are nearly ready to race.

Last start placed Mastercourtsman ran 1600m, the final 600m in 39.6. He is due his first victory.

Last start winner Quaff was partnered by Lambada over 1000m, the last 600m in 39.1. There is no reason Quaff will not go on to be very competitive in his next few runs.

Quality Mare, Ladies First, was partnered by Grinner over 1400m, the last 600m in 37.8. She continues to please and as soon as she gets over a suitable distance, will be very competitive.

Call Doubt also is at the improving stage running 38.7 for the final 600m of his work.

The final gallop was Spondulix who worked solo over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.3.
