Time honours of the morning went to the Allan Sharrock trained 2yo Tutta La Classe, who galloped with Stroke Of Luck over 800m, the final 600m in 39.1 Tutta La Classe will be hard to beat in the Ryder Stakes Saturday and is also a possible entrant in the $101,000 Platinum Homes Taranaki Challenge as the owner has a slot in the race.
Course specialist Call Doubt is coming to hand well when galloping 1000m, the last 600m in 39.8.
The good galloper Darci Mac strode over 1000m solo, the last 600m in 39.8. He is nearing another win.
Good winter galloper, Rosewood, was partnered by Our Milo over 1000m, the last 600m in 39.9. It was good work by the maiden.
The Janelle Millar pair of Tinkalicious and Larima were paired over 1000m, the last 600m in 39.9. It was sound work.
Battle Kat worked solo over the same distances, home in 41.2.
The remainder of the gallops were on the sand.
Pentathlon worked with Abacus over 1600m, the last 600m in 40.2. He also had a gallop race day and appears over recent complaints and is coming to hand well.
Irish Flame and Remarx worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 40.1. Both worked well.
The final gallop was solo by Secret Squirrel, the last 600 in 41.9. He looks well as he starts a new campaign.
