Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway
Tuesday 5th June 2018
Course Proper. Track Soft.

Quite good times were recorded for winter gallops this morning.

Impressive were the Millar Racing pair of Effectav and Battle Kat, who worked 1000m, the last 600m in 36.5. Effectav recorded the quickest last 600m at Hawera when running a very good second. A win is close at hand.

Time honours of the morning went to both Art Deco and Darci Mac who worked separately, a steady 1000m, sprinting the last 600m in 36.2. It was sound work.

Grinner and Lady Style also worked separately completing identical work but home in 36.3.

Our Milo wasn’t after time running 39.5 for his final 600m. He runs at Pukekura Raceway on Thursday and will be hard to beat.

Tellyawhat and Belthan were paired together over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.1. They appeared to be working well.

Royal Empress ran 1600m, the last 600m in 40.5. She has been very disappointing but will be given one more chance on Thursday.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY next race day at Pukekura Raceway, Stable Books Winter Racing, Thursday 7th June.
