Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Trackwork was held under stormy conditions, with thunder and lightning providing a dramatic backdrop.

Time honours went to the Allan Sharrock duo of Tellyawhat and Malo Bik who were flying, and recorded a time of 35.4 for the last 600m.

Also recording a good time for their 1000m gallop was Field of Fire and Turncoat, with the last 600 in 36.6.

Only slightly slower, recording with a 36.7 seconds recorded for their last 600m of a 1000m run were the Janelle Millar pair of Time Bomb and Hard To Be Humble.

Yardstick and Newstead worked 1000m, the last in 38.2.

Unlucky her last start, Battle Kat worked solo over 1000m, with a last 600m clocked at 36.8.

Duellicious ran 1000m, recording a 600m of 39. It is training on well.

From the Wheeler Racing Stables Stylish Applause and Our Matriarch worked together over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.1.

Stanley and Audacity galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 39.3.

Working on the sand this morning were Fair Script and Shocker, with a 38.7 600m time.

Call Doubt is coming along nicely, with a 36.9 600m on the sand.

The Marilyn Paewai trained Rosewood worked on the sand over 1000m, with a 39.3 last 600m.
