Course Proper. Markers Outside. Heavy 

Preparing for Xtreme Race Day, gallops took place on the course proper, using the outer strip, where it was heavy, with a strong head wind.

Agooddeal in preparation for the local meeting worked over a 1000m, with the last 600m in 40.75. A useful third at the last meeting at New Plymouth.

Art Deco and Valentia impressed over 1000m, galloping strongly, the last 600m in 41.65. Both horses will start on Saturday at New Plymouth.

Te Hana and Light Em Up continued their progress to a return to racing, working over 1000m together, covering the last 600m in 41.85. Both horses appear bright, and have been nominated for Saturday.

Bishopbriggs worked over 1200m, galloping strongly throughout, the last 600m in 41.65. A possible starter on Saturday.

Victoria’s Legacy and Whispering working in a solid fashion over 1000m, with the last 600 in 41.93. Victoria’s Legacy has thrived since her last race.

Devi and Milighn paired up over 1000m, finishing off strongly with the last 600m in 41.82. Devi starts at New Plymouth on Saturday and Milighn a possible debutante at Waverley on Thursday 29th.

The Janelle Millar trained pair of Tequila Sunrise and Effectav continued their progress towards racing with strong work over 1000m, running the last 600m in 41.60. Both have been nominated to start their spring/summer racing campaigns this Saturday at Pukekura Raceway.

Stablemates, Time Bomb and Miss Bondi, worked over 1000m, covering the last 600m in 42.67. Trainer, Janelle Millar, has nominated both for Xtreme Race Day on Saturday.

The Graduate and Spondalix went 1000m, with the last 600m in 42.20.

Madame Defarge and Dynamite Lucy paired up over 1000m, with the last 600m in 41.67.

Shinelikeadiamond, Vencedora, and Rascallion went together over 1000m, the last 600m in 41.84.

Macklemore and Ledbury worked over 1000m together, finishing the last 600m in 42.50.

One the sand Heistheone and Pentathlon completed two round with the last 600m in 38.85. Heisthone looks to have thrived since his third at New Plymouth. Penthathlon ran home strongly from the tail at Hastings, a run which please trainer, John Wheeler.
