Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Cup entrant Zola Express was one of the stars of the morning, running 1000m, with Revelry, the last 600m in 36.6. It was a good gallop.

Rival Beaudzwell ran a round with Chief Sequoia sprinting the last 600m in 38.2. He was strong at the line.

Another sparkling gallop by Showusmore, who ran 1000m, with Purring Away, the last 600m in 36.9.

Promising filly Le Villi ran 1200m with Pinsk, the last 600m in 38.0. Le Villi won well last start and is not without a chance in the Oakes Prelude on Saturday.

Allambra Lad ran 1000m, with South Road. The last 600m in 37.2. Allambra Lad is holding form well.

Race rivals Barney Rubble and Bold Bette ran 1400m, the last 600m in 39.0. Barney Rubble saves his best for New Plymouth.

Stablemates, Star Of Australis and Our Fair Trade, also ran 1400m, the last 600m slightly quicker in 38.1. It was good work.

Sumi and an unnamed Derryn ran 1000m, the last 600min 36.6. Whilst Sumi was a fraction disappointing last start she is too good to drop.

Cup entrants Sinarahma and Our Hail Mary ran a strong 1200m, the last 600 in 37.5. Both are sound chances on Saturday.

The Hottie was partnered by Canttouchthis over 1000m, the last 600m in 37.1.

The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, the last 600m times in brackets. Legally Bond (37.5), Justfixitwuldya (37.8), Lorde Have Mercy (38.8).
