Course Proper – Markers out 21m – Track Slow

With Jump Outs held Monday at Pukekura Raceway, it was a reasonably quiet session.

Time honours of the morning went to the Janelle Millar trained pair KOKO BELLE and MISTRESS POROTENE. They galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 37.8.  Considering the gallop was later in the session, it was excellent work.

The Allan Sharrock trained duo of TURNCOAT and YOU’LL DO ME also ran 1000m, the last 600m in 38.7.  TURNCOAT in particular worked well.

The Wheeler runners ALAMCPHERSON and LAMBADA ran 1000m, the last 600m in 39.6.  ALAMCPHERSON looks improved from her first up effort.

The jumpers, FAIR SCRIPT, MENDOZA, YARDSTICK, and CASHEL worked over 2 rounds on the sand before working over 1400m on the Course Proper, running the last 600m in 39.1 and 40.8 respectively. FAIR SCRIPT, a long priced last start winner at Te Rapa, is being aimed for the Waikato Steeplechase.

WOODBINE LADD partnered a Rock n Pop youngster of Rob Patterson’s running a 1000m, the last 600 in 40.5. WOODBINE LADD is very genuine.

Others to work over 1000m from the Sharrock Stables and their last 600m times were; WHISPERING and TELLYAWHAT 38.9, LANDLORD and LADIES FIRST 40.2 and MARS BARS and JACKSON ROAD 38.2
