Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway
Tuesday 26th October 2021

Course Proper | Track Slow 9| Markers 24m

As expected, Tavi Mac and Our Hail Mary recorded the fastest  600m, with 38.1 seconds. They worked a strong 1000m. Now back in form, it was great work by both.

Stablemates, Darci La Bella and Catsacharmer were only fractionally slower at 38.3, when also galloping 1000m. Catsacharmer is close to a race day return.

Lord Donovan and Twominutestoheaven ran a strong 1000m, the last 600m in 39.8. it was a sound gallop.

Wattabreeze had the Tivaci / I Do filly for company over 1000m, the last 600m in 38.7. Wattabreeze is ready to resume.

New Zealand Cup favourite, Beaudzwell did two rounds and was joined in galloping 1000m by The Big Boss, the last 600m in 40.4. Beaudzwell ran a top race for second at Rotorua and heads to Christchurch for the feature staying races Cups Week.

Wellington Cup winner, Waisake, ran a solid 1000m, with Reliable Miss, the last 600m in 40.2.

Total Sass and Keen To Run ran 800m, the last 600 in 39.5. Total Sass in particular appeared to be revelling in the conditions.

Pure Incanto and Sheezabelter were locked together over 800m, the last 600m in 39.1.

Douglas Black and I’m Ronaldo worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.9 seconds. They were well held.

The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, with their last 600m times in brackets; Spanish Harlem (40.1), Zola Express (39.8), Kiana Belle (39.2). Kiana Belle looked improved on it’s first up run.
