Course Proper. Markers Out 15m. Dead/Slow. 

Gallops took place 15m out, on a dead/slow course proper.

Willbeokay and Carnation strode out over 1000m with the last 600 in 37.75. Willbeokay looked particularly strong in its work and will line up at Wellington on Saturday.

Kawi, in preparation for the Bonecrusher New Zealand Stakes, worked a quiet round to the 1200 working within himself, the last 600 in 38.55.

Hoist and Skoota Brown working stylishly over 1200m, the last 600 in 37.65. Both horses are in excellent order and will race in the R65 1400m and R75 1600m, respectively, at Wellington on Saturday.

Allmosta and Art Deco went together over 1000, the last 600 in 37.25. Allmosta continues to look good in her work, while well performed Art deco looks to have strengthened after her spell out.

Effectav and Tinkalicious worked over 1000m in good fashion, running the last 600m in 38.10 seconds. Impressive last start winner, Tinkalicious lines up at Wellington on Saturday.

Irish Flame worked quietly to the 800, finishing the gallop strongly, the last 600 in 37.79. The easing in track conditions at Auckland could work in his favour on Thursday.

Battle Kat and Lovethefeeling worked in solid fashion over 1,200m, covering the last 600m in 37.94 seconds. Both will start in the listed New Zealand St Leger on Saturday in Wellington.

Malibu Miss, Wellington bound, worked over a solid 1200m, the last 600 in 38.51. Malibu Miss looks bright after recent racing.

Vencedora, running in the New Zealand Oaks, and Newstead did strong work over 1200m, the last 600 in 38.10.

Pentathlon and Marqueteer worked over 2000m, increasing the pace from the 1200, coming home the last 600m in 39.26. Pentathlon steps up a fit horse for the Auckland Cup.
