Time honours of the morning went to the promising Yea Boi who worked in company with the well performed Collinstreet. They ran a strong 1000, the last 600 in 38.3.
Only fractionally slower were the Janelle Millar pair Loox Like A Pro and Tequila Spirit who also ran 1000m, the last 600 in 38.4.
Also from the Millar barn, Suntributor and Ginger Snapz sprinted a sharp 600m in 38.8.
Spanish Harlem looks improved after recent racing. She ran 1000m solo, cruising home in 38.9.
From the Wheeler barn Zeefa Zed and Beaudzwell ran a strong 1400m, the last 600 in 40.1. Zeefa Zed may run at Awapuni on Saturday and can continue his god form if he gets is favoured heavy track.
Tsunami and Songsungblu ran an even 1400m, home in 41.7. Tsunami is ready to win a maiden.
Justaskme and Darci La Bella worked later in session over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.2. They were strong at the line.
Jumper, Chief Sequoia, continues his preparation towards the Northern when galloping two round on the sand, before sprinting 1200m on the grass with Lorde Have Mercy. Their last 600m in 41.1 seconds. It was strong work.
The final gallop was Our Hail Mary and Allambra Lad over 1000m, the last 600m in 40.2 seconds.
