Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Quality galloper Tavi Mac looked all class as he strode over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.0. He is progressing well towards the Foxbridge.
Strong work by Gobuyit who ran 1200m, in company with Hot Shockolate, the last 600 in 40.9.
Butler was again impressive working 1000m, with Ladies Man, the last 600 in 38.6. Both are in great form.
ITM Interprovincial candidates, Collinstreet and Aricina, worked a strong 1200m, home in 39.7. They will be competitive.
Total Sass worked with Dame Vera over 1000m, the last 600m in 39.8. Total Sass won well last start and would be a great chance if the consolation race gets off the ground.
Diogenes and Suntribute worked 1000m, the last 600 in 42.0. Diogenes loves the loose heavy track. Stablemates Tequila Spirit and Lola Express did identical work home in 41.1.
London Express was partnered by Gerda over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.6, Gerda will run for Bay Of Plenty on Saturday in the Interprovincial.
The Wheeler team galloped on the sand over 1200m, with the 600m times in brackets. Shocking Bill and Irish Flare (39.4), Sweet Karma and Tsunami (39.1), Wine N Dine and The Big Boss (39.0). Shocking Bill was very strong at the line.
The final gallops on the course proper were solo over 1000m. Spanish Harlem home in 41.3 and Batchelor Babe 41.9. Batchelor Babe loves wet ground.
