Powerworx Opunake Cup winner, Justaskme, worked a strong 1200m with Arincina, the last 600m in 40.3. He is a very worthy favourite for the Winter Cup.
Loox Like A Pro and Rhuzick galloped 1000m, the last 600m in 41.5. Loox Like A Pro ran well last start and looks close to a win.
Stablemates Smarty Pants and Diogenes ran a steady 800m, the last 600 in 41.9.
Jumpers, Chief Sequoia and Remarx, worked over a round before sprinting the last 600m in 41.7. Both are Christchurch bound.
Zeefa Zed has Pinsk for a companion on the sand where they worked over 1200m, the last 600 in 38.8. There is no reason why Zeefa Zed won’t continue on with his good form after his strong win last start, under 60kgs.
Chillie Millie and Dee Dee Smash worked a strong 1000m, the last 600 in 41.2. It was good work.
Penelope Cruz worked a round, before sprinting 600m in 42.6.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, with last 600m times in brackets; Batchelor Babe (41.8), Swiss Kitty (40.8). Swiss Kitty worked strongly.
