Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

With 14 mls of rain overnight, the track was Slow for a busy morning session, with local races on Thursday.

From the Patterson barn, Sir Caleb and Bold Bette ran 1400m, the last 600m in 39.3. Both are close to winning form.

Coventina Bay was paired with Nun Hissing, also over 1400m, the last 600m in 40.2. Coventina Bay has been unlucky recently.

La Strata ran 1200m, in company with the Atlante / Shining Light from the Millar stable, the last 600m in 42.3.

Stablemates, Drop The Beat and Pure Incanto, did similar work, home in 41.9. Pure Incanto seems ready to win a maiden soon.

Tavi Attack, a recent jump out winner, ran 1000m, with last start winner Butler. They sped over the final 600m in 40.4. It was a splendid gallop.

Stablemates, Sumi and Grinder, did identical work, home in 40.5. Sumi was an effortless winner last start and should go on with it.

A big team from the Wheeler stable worked later in the session. Power Of The Kitty was stronger than Songsungblue over 1000m, the last 600 in 41.2. Power Of The Kitty should win soon.

Roc Ya Sox ran 1400m with Bubblegum, the last 600 in 40.4. Whilst Roc Ya Sox has disappointed recently he looked to work well.

Wicklow and Nogolf Etikit wan 1400m, the last 600 in 42.6. The track was cutting up by the end and the wind made galloping difficult.

From the Revell team Littlehooves Has Moves was paired with Vincenzo Lorenzo over 1000m, the last 600m in 41.2. Littlehooves Has Moves won well at the recent jump outs.

Barney Rubble ran 1200m with an unnamed He’s Remarkable in the Patterson stable. They ran the last 600m in 41.6. This was identical time to Saigon Nights and Jaxx Be Nimble. Jaxx Be Nimble looks forward to resume after a brief let up.

Sir Baldrick and Klassen worked strongly over 1200m, the last 600m in 41.5. Klassen is holding its form well.

Redgum was paired with Shocking Bill over 1400m, the last 600 in 42.5.

The final gallops were all solo over 1000m or 1200m, with the 600m time in brackets.

Lady Rudolph (42.5), Puntura (41.0), Herewego (41.8), Our Hail Mary (40.4), Sinarahma (40.1), One Of The Best (41.5),. Sinarahma worked very well.
