Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Course Proper. Markers out 19m. Track Good 3.

Good mare, Tinkalicious, took time honours on the morning when galloping 1000m, with La Strata. They ran the last 600m in a quick 36.4. Tinkalicious is ready to bounce back from a slightly disappointing southern trip.

Monkey Shoulder looked improved by his first-up effort when running 1200m with Fire Dancer, the last 600 in 37.4.

Sinarahma, who couldn’t have been more impressive wining last Saturday, worked with Gerda over 1200m, the last 600m in 38.2. Both are in great form.

From the Wheeler barn, Lorde Have Mercy and Vencedora worked over 1200m, the last 600m in 38.5. They had a week off after their Riccarton trip but won’t hard be to place during Christmas racing.

Cleaver was partnered by Our Matriarch over 1200m, the last 600 in 38.4. Cleaver was much improved last start.

One Of The Best was partnered by Showmethebubbles over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.9. It was a strong gallop.

Stablemates, Ruby Love and Mal Dee, did similar work, home slightly quicker in 37.6.

That’s Incranible had Cottoneva as a galloping mate over 1200m, the last 600 in 37.4. They appeared to be working well.

The Barman Pays was paired with an unnamed Redwood from the Wheeler barn. They ran 1200m, the last 600 in 37.7.

From the Adams barn, Spondulix and Tarabeebee ran solo, both over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.2 and 39.1 respectively. They won’t be hard to place during Christmas racing.

The red-hot Patterson stables were confined to the sand. Lady Rudolph, who looks brilliant, heads to Te Rapa on Saturday. She ran 800m, the last 600 in 41.2. Malo Bik did similar work, home in 41.8.
