Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway
Tuesday 27th November 2019
Course Proper. Markers out 17m Track Irrigated Dead 4.
The Patterson duo Aridity and Malo Bik worked impressively over 1000m, the last 600 in 36.1. Malo Bik disappointed at Waverley but on a good track today the work was first class.
Gerda was partnered by Collinstreet over 1200m, the last 600 in 37.0. Gerda is improved from its first up run where the bad draw meant the run was way better than it looked.
Time honours of the morning went to Our Hail Mary and That’s Incranibull who ran 1000m, the last 600 in 35.9. It was an excellent gallop.
Tellyawhat and Mars Bars did similar work, home in 36.4. They are holding their form well.
Last start winner, Lady Rudolph, wasn’t after time when working a solo 1000m, home in 39.9. She was impressive at Te Rapa.
Jazamour and Yes I’m Royal worked over 1400m, the last 600 in a solid 38.1. Both appeared to work well.
Beaudz Well galloped with Remarx over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.7. Both are close to resuming, especially Remarx who is quite forward.
Bubble Gum was partnered by an unnamed Echoes Of Heaven from the Wheeler stable. They galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 37.6. Bubble Gum seemed to have thrived whilst spelling.
Whoztheboss and Dee Keepa were locked together after 1000m, the last 600 in 37.5. It was an attractive gallop.
The remaining galloper’s were solo over 1000 or 1200 with the last 600m splits in brackets.
Here We Go (36.7)
Tavi Mac (36.9)
Ekstrememiss (40.8). Ekstrememiss disappointed last week, but is too good to drop completely.
