Course Proper. Markers 22m. Track Dead then Slow
The track started out on the cusp of Dead, however with persistent showers, the track cut up a bit as it went into the slow range.
Tinkalicious and Ruby Love had early use of the track, running 1000m, the last 600m in the quickest of the morning, 38.1. It was an excellent gallop.
Another good gallop was the Wheeler pair Lorde Have Mercy and Zeefa Zed. They worked over 1200m, later in the session, the last 600 covered in 38.7.
Gerda and London Express worked strongly over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.6. Both appeared to be working well and will be very competitive in the next start.
Mal Dee and Vinabeel worked 1000m, the last 600m in 38.9. Vinabeel showed promise last season and is coming to hand well.
From the Adams Barn Total Sass and Spondulix ran 1000m, the last 600m in 38.9. Both appeared to work well. Stablemates Aratoka and Tarabeebee were slightly slower, at 39.7, when completing an identical task. After a short break both seem close to appearing race day again.
Jazamour and Yes I’m Royal worked comfortably over 1000m, the last 600 in 398.
From the Allan Sharrock stable Waisake and Collinstreet were paired over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.5.
Last start winner, Red Forest, worked solo over 1200m, the last 600 in 40.5. She will be hard to beat on her home track Saturday.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, with the last 600 recorded as
