On a perfect rack there were some quality gallops leading into the biggest race day of the year.

Jakkalbomb and Vinabeel both form runners for Saturday galloped a solid 1200m, the last 600 in 36.8. Both are sound chances.

Monkey Shoulder who went terrific last start was paired with Mastercourtsman over 1400m, the last 600 in 37.3. Monkey Shoulder needs to win soon to progress to the Derby.

Another headed to the Derby is Roc Ya Sox who galloped 1200 in company with Lorde Have Mercy, the last 600 in 37.3. Roc Ya Sox has had a quiet freshen up and will go to the Jump Outs Monday.

Ladies First and Sinarahma were paired over 1600m, the last 600 in 36.8. It was a solid hit out.

From the Sandy Dravitzki stable Euka Lady and a Swiss Ace 3yo ran a sharp 1000m, the last 600 in 37.1. Both show promise.

Time honours of the morning went to the unlucky Keltic Rockstar who ran a sharp 1000m, home in 35.8.

Cleaver, who was quite unlucky last start was paired with Irish Flame over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.9.

Collinstreet and Valencia ran an even 1000m, the 600 in 38.

Exstrememiss and Talk Time were partnered over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.9.

Stablemates Araprince and a D’Cash 3yo did identical work with the last 600 in 38.1.

Mel D worked solo over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.3. It was attractive work.

Showmethebubbles and Koko Belle worked strongly over 1000m, the last 600 in a slick 36.7.

Affluent and a Bull Bars in the Adams stables ran 1000m, the last 600 in 38.3.
