Events, Marketing, & Sponsorship Coordinator

Sonya is in her sixth year as Events, Marketing, and Sponsorship Coordinator at Taranaki Racing.

She is sure her passion for racing came from her granddad who 'had horses' in the '50s and '60s, before she was even born but just seems to be in the blood. This love of the racing industry has only been strengthened through her role at Taranaki Racing Inc.

She is also proud shareholder of three horses, Effectav, Time Bomb, and Who's That Girl, and manages the syndicates which own them - Winners Circle and Girls Go Racing I & II.

Sonya strives to ensure that everyone who attends a race day or a race day event has a positive experience, and wants to keep coming back.
