Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

With showery conditions the track deteriorated slightly throughout the session.

Wynthorpe had first use of track and worked as well as ever, running 1000m, the last 600 in 36.9. This was the fastest of the day equalled by the Janelle Millar pair of Koko Belle and Larima. Both won’t be hard to place in the next month or so. Larima especially was unlucky last start at Otaki.

The good 3YO Tutta La Classe was partnered by Sinarahma. They worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.0. It was a first class gallop.

Westside was paired with Ville Lille over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.9 whilst Spring Blossom and Aratoka did identical work, home in 38.7.

The track was starting to get rained affected by the time Field Of Fire and Mars Bar worked over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.6.

Previously youngsters in the Millar team worked over 1000, the last 600 in 38.1. It was good work by both who are sired by Jakkalberry and Savabeel.

The Patterson duo Aridity and Vincent worked stylishly over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.9. Vincent may go south to the Cup meeting at Riccarton.

Remarx was partnered by Kirkenes over an easy 1200 speeding up to record 39.1. For the last 600m.

Our Milo and Dezella continue to work well the last 600 in 38.3 was one of the quicker time late in the session.

Keltic Rockstar galloped right handed, the last 600 in 39.1. He should win a maiden soon.

Royal Empress was paired with Red Forrest over 1000m, the last 600 in 39.8. it was good work by both.

The final gallop timed was Our Matriarch and Lorde Have Mercy who ran 1400, the last 600 in 39.6. Lorde have Mercy should win a staying maiden race like her stablemate soon.
