On a fine Autumn morning, grass gallops were carried out on a heavy track.

Time honours were narrowly taken out by Royal Empress (Harris) and Belle Tem (Sharrock). They worked over 1000m, the last 600m in 39 seconds even.

The Millar Racing pair of Time Bomb and Hezhightensile, who are both nominated for Hawera on Sunday, worked 1200m, recording a last 600m time of 39.2. It was solid work.

Turncoat and Art Deco, from the Sharrock stables, paired up over 1000m, covering the last 600m in 39.4.

Stablemates Hard To Be Humble and Effectav, galloped over 1000m, recording a last 600m of 39.5 seconds. It was good work by the pair.

Field Of Fire and Tellyawhat worked well over 1000m, coming in at 39.1 for the last 600m.

Mistress Porotene and Battle Kat galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 40.2. Both are due to head to Hawera this weekend.

From the Sharrock stables Ginner and Cottoneva work well over 1000m, the last 600 in 40.7.

Joy Ride worked solo over 1000m, covering the last 600m in 39.3 seconds.
