Trackwork at Pukekura Raceway

Koko Belle, preparing for Ellerslie, partnered with How’s That Girl and worked right handed around the track. They galloped the last 600m in 36.5 seconds. How’s That Girl is nominated at Hawera on Monday. They matched the fastest time of the morning.

Also running the last 600m in a quick 36.5 seconds was Master Courtsman and Rosewood.

The Allan Sharrock pair of Waisake and Malo Bik galloped 1200m, the last 600 in 37.2. They are both nominated for Hawera.

Rizza worked solo over 1200 running the last 600 in 38.2.

Phyllthepower worked with Collinstreet running the last 600 in 37.5. It was strong work.

Pownce also worked the track right handed, and recorded a 38.2 600m.

Last start winner, Ladies First, did three rounds of easy pace work ahead of her Auckland Cup bid on Saturday.

The following horses worked on the sand;
Fascino Lass ran the last 600m in an even 38.
Wood Lad and Vincent recorded a 39 second 600m
Smoken Hot covered the last 600m in 38.3
