Tuesday 12th December 2021

Course Proper | Markers 12m | Track Dead 4

Time honours of the morning went to Tavi Mac who worked solo over 1000m. He appeared to never be out of second gear, the last 600m but still ran 35.5.

The Patterson pair Sir Caleb and Barney Rubble ran 1000m, the last 600 in an easy 38.9. They are off to Wanganui on Thursday and will be competitive as will stablemate Pounce who worked solo, the last 600 in 39.0.

Trainer, John Wheeler, had a large team at the track with six going to Wanganui on Thursday.

They started off from the gap working from 1200m mark with 600m times in brackets. Wicklow and Red Gum (38.2), Nogolf Etikit and Shocking Bill (37.6), Remarx and Bubblegum (37.8). Shocking Bill worked well for a maiden.

Waisake and Our Hail Mary had a rousing gallop over 1200m, the last 600 in 38.2. Both are progressing well towards major races.

One Of The Best, who is in sparking form, worked 1200m with La Strata, the last 600 in 38.2, whilst stablemates Zola Express and Ignite The Light did similar work home in 37.2.

The remaining gallops were all solo over 1000m or 1200m, with the 600m times in brackets.

Melody Roxx (37.8), Legally Blonde (37.2), Regal Rock (36.6), Hot Saigon Night (38.3). Legally Blonde looks improved on its first run.
