Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway
Tuesday 20th October 2020
Course Proper. Markers 22m

After overnight rain, the track was slow but still provided sound footing.

Time honours were shared between members of the Sharrock team.

Our Hail Mary and Sinarahma worked strongly over 1200m, the last 600m in a quick 36.1. Our Hail Mary ran a great race first up at Hawera, whilst Sinarahma continues to improve.

Just as quick, in a similar gallop were Grinder and Signora Nera. Both worked strongly.
From the Wheeler team Irish Flare and Black Eyed Sue galloped a lap before sprinting the last 600m in 37.7. They worked very strongly.

Rosewood appreciated the conditions when partnering with Hi I’m Nikita. They ran a strong 1400m, home in 37.9. Rosewood needs a wet track to show her true form.

From the Millar barn, Tequila Spirit partnered with Smarty Pants in an attractive 1200m gallop, the last 600m in 37.7.
Secret Squirrel and a Charm Spirit from the Revell barn worked over 1200m, the last 600m in 38.0. Secret Squirrel hasn’t had much luck lately.

Stablemates, Arincina and Ladies First galloped 1200m, the last 600m in 37.1.

Waisake and Connolly worked over 1400m, with the last 600m only slightly slower in 37.6.

Meila Rei was partnered by a stablemate by Sacred Falls. They ran 1200m, the last 600 in 37.5. Meila Rei in particular seemed to be working well.

Selby worked with a Dissident from the Bolton stable over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.4. The Dissident ran second at the Hawera Jump Outs.

Sumi work attractively with Dee Dee Smash over 1000, quickening to run the last 600m in 36.6. It was a good gallop.
Beaudzwell was paired with Remarx over 1400m, the last 600m in 37.8. Remarx is waiting for a better track.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, or 1200m, with the last 600m in times in brackets.

Here We Go (38.2), Total Sass (37.7), Tellyawhat (37.9), Penelope Cruz (37.8). Total Sass will be a strong chance is she lines up at her home track on Friday and the track is rain affected.
