Course Proper. Markers 14m

The talented duo Tavi Mac and Sinarahma took time honours this morning as they prepared for major assignments this weekend.  They ran 1200m, the last 600 in a slick 36.5.  Sinarahma is one of the favourites for the Wyndspelle Grangewillliam Stud Taranaki Breeders Stakes on Saturday at Hawera and looks well placed.

Waisake was partnered by Collinstreet.  They worked a round before sprinting the last 600m in 38.5.  Waisake was impressive last start.

Total Sass was paired with Keen to Run over 1000m, the last 600m in 37.7.  Total Sass is knocking on the door for another victory.

Sir Caleb and stablemate Our Fair Trade sprinted 1000m, the last 600 in 37.4.  It was a strong gallop.

Sweet Karma and Remarx were locked together over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.6.  Remarx seemed to enjoy the improved track conditions.

Great Northern bound Master Courtsman galloped a round speeding up to record 39.2 for the final 600m.  It was sound work by the jumper.

La Strata was accompanied by the unnamed Charm Spirit/Gymnast.  They ran 1000m, the last 600m in a steady 38.0.  Trainer Janelle Millar had her team firing well.

Bold Bette and Aridity galloped 1000m together, the last 600 in 38.1.  Bold Bette ran an improvers race last start.  The good mare Ladies First galloped 1400m solo, the last 60m in 38.0.  She went an enormous race first up.

The final gallops were all solo over 1000 or 1200m with the 600m time in brackets.  Here We Go (38.9), Batchelor Babe (38.1), All the Jazz (37.9), Rosewood (38.3), Tellyawhat (37.7).  Tellyawhat in particular worked strongly for his Hawera race this Saturday.
