Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Tuesday 23rd June 2020
Course Proper. Markers out 22m. Track Slow.

With Stratford Jump Outs on Monday, and Waverley Trials on Wednesday, it was a reasonably quiet morning.

Time honours of the morning went to the unraced Signora Nera, who ran 1000m, in company with Sumi, the last 600m in 38.3.

Signora Nera won impressively at the recent Jump Outs.

The well performed Tavi Mac galloped 1000m solo, the last 600 in 38.6. Tavi Mac continues to come to hand well.

The top winter galloper, Rosewood, continues to please. She galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 39.2. Rosewood also won well at the Jump Outs and will likely go to the Foxbridge at Te Rapa.

Jumper, Master Courtsman, galloped an even 1200m the last 600 in 39.7. Master Courtsman goes to Wanganui on Thursday.

One Of The Best galloped with an unnamed Battle Paint out of Royal Queen from the Janelle Millar stable, over 1000m, the last 600 in 40.0. One Of The Best performed well at the local Jump Outs.

Also from the Millar stable, two unnamed horses galloped 1000m, the last 600 in 40.2. They were a Shamexpress/Zolande and a Charm Spirit/Gymnast.

The well performed Hi I'm Nikita galloped a strong 1200m, the last 600 in 40.7. Hi I'm Nikita is no far off a race day appearance.

The following all worked 1000m solo, with the 600m time in brackets.

Total Sass (39.3)
Vinabeel (39.5)
Here We Go (40.1)

Vinabeel would probably prefer a slightly better track.

Brought to you by the next race meeting at New Plymouth Raceway;

Welcome Back To Racing, Friday 28 August.
